Droupadi Murmu took oath as the 15th President of India today(2022-07-25), as she became the first tribal woman to hold the highest constitutional post in the country.
Indian Chief Justice of India N V Ramana managed the vow to Murmu within the sight of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, S Jaishankar, and Amit Shah, among others.
addressing the country subsequent to being confirmed as the fifteenth President of India, Droupadi Murmu Monday expressed that she was respected to assume responsibility at a time India is finishing 75 years of Independence. She added that she’s the first President to be brought into the world in quite a while.
Following her swearing-in service, President Droupadi Murmu assumed responsibility for her obligations from previous president Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
